Hello all. I am trying to get an '85 Aspencade back on the road. Lifters are VERY noisy.
At about 1700 rpm, lifter noise is what I hear riding down the street. I have ordered the lifter bleeder tool and the shim gauge with some new shims. (just in case) Question....
Unless I find a lot of gunk or other reason to dig deeper, I would like to remove the lifters from the camshaft holder WITHOUT removing the holder from the head. My Honda service manual discusses the lifters as part of cylinder head removal and not as a separate procedure. Am I barking up the wrong tree?????:?:?
