Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment. And yes, it rides a whole lot better than it looks.

Andrew,

Are you hiding your talents from us?

Just curious, thought your name was familiar.

Brian, it is actually a Ford 8.8 Diff that you would find in most of your late model Ford Mustang GT's and F-150 Trucks

John, not hiding anything from you folks

I build them, paint them, install them, polish them, chrome them, and service them ;)

That looks interesting. Have you, or will you be making something like this for 1100, 1200, or 1500? If so, I'd like to see pictures of the finished product. :action::action::action:

Isn't that the new suspension that Motor Trike just came out with?

Andrew, welcome to the forums, we can use all the expert help around here we can get. One of our frequent posters is a technician from Sierra Electronics, he's been a big help for those troublesome Clarion Audio systems the early wings have.

Question, does your shop do anything with sidecars?

I spoke with Jeff Vey, owner of Motor-Trike this weekend about the 1500 Goldwing having the IRS Suspension. They have not started working on that project yet, but he believes they will introduce an IRS for the 1500 in the future.

We had a 2 of our really good customers test ride a built IRS trike and they both left for the bank. You can mock my words, this engineering marvel is going to stun the trike industry. With my experience with IRS suspensions, this conversion can't be beat. I can't see it happening... hands down it is the best handling and has the best ride quality of ANY trike I have ridden pretty much all of them.

I can help with sidecars, but trikes are our specialty

How about motor controlled torsion system? A way to set the ride on the fly for various types of roads? :)

No need, this setup uses the air shocks, which also includes an On-board Air Compressor. This is pretty much the same priciple. This can be used on-the-fly as well. No other conversion offers this.

This seems to be quite the system. But there is another conversion that uses the principle of the motorized torsion control with their independent suspension. I like your ideas and practical simple system. Is there specs we can read somewhere? To bad your so far away.

send me an e-mail [email protected] I can send the information If anyone else is interested in the tech, just shoot me an e-mail.

Andrew,

I just got home from work, and this is the first time I have been able to see the pictures. Darn firewalls there limit what I can access.

I just wanted to say that I am very impressed with the quality of the construction and the engineering of that IRS setup.

I have been looking at all of them, and not overly impressed with the technical aspects of most of them.

I think I need to come down to your shop one day.

The problem with the torsion system is you loose too much ride quality. It's not a bad idea at all, but you have to look at all aspects. I rode this setup 70-75mph over manhole sized pot holes on an old pig trail in the country of Troup, TX. I'm not saying I couldn't fill the bumps, but honestly the other trikes I rode came off track, bottomed out, or rattled me so harsh that I had to slow down significantly. It's one of those things that you really need to experience for yourself. I've never been more impressed with any other product.

Tomorrow I will post up pictures of the fully built Motor-Trike IRS conversions. My son is not breathing well and I have to keep an eye on him tonight. Goodnight all!
