Hi, just joined. Have a new but 2008 Goldwing with the Navi/comfort/abs packages. I posted this in the main forum, but got no hits. I sold a BMW R1200RT to get my Wing, and definitely feel I made the right decision. My question is about brakes. As I understand it, they are linked, as were the BMWs. Many BMW riders, including myself, only used the right hand brake lever for stopping, since the brakes were linked. We used the rear brake pedal only for trail braking in corners and for slow-speed maneuvers. Do Wingers do the same, or do you guys use both brakes simultaneously?Would appreciate hearing your thoughts on the issue. Just trying to get accustomed to what most folks do who ride a Wing. Thanks.
