I am a new member and a proud owner of a '08 Goldwing 1800 comfort ride which was converted into a trike by Nutting Custom Trikes in Afton, OK. This wasn't my first choice in a trike. I looked at the new Harley Tri-Glide. And almost made the mistake of ordering one. Once I saw the Goldwing trike, I placed my order back in early Sept and took possession at the end of Sept. Can't wait to take it on major road trips.

Thanks Flyone,

Are you by chance a pilot with that handle? Or you just fly the Goldwing? I am a private pilot and enjoy both forms of entertainment. Goldwing is a lot more reasonable to "fly" though.

God bless,

Joe

Welcome.

If you're new to motorcycling, I'd suggest you take a Rider Safety Course and if you've been riding for a while and just new to Goldwings, then how about an Advanced Safety Course. You'll learn or brush up on skills that may save your life.

Another suggestion, check out Accident Scene Management, Inc. (ASMI), they are a 501(c)3 and teach trauma rather than first aid, which increases survivability in motorcycle accidents. Their website is: http://www.accidentscene.org/ They have classes available in most states.

ASMI partner with Rescue Riders which provide ASMI trained people as volunteers for area rides. Their website is: http://www.rescueriders.org/ They are in 22 states and expanding into more states all the time.
