Howdy Folks!



I've been lurking here for a while prior to my plunge into the comfortable world of Goldwings. I've been on my Honda Shadow Aero 750 for a while, but after a few hours of riding through the beautiful country side of the Ozarks, I decided it was time to move up.

I just purchased a well-maintained 2000 GL1500SE (two-tone red) and absolutely love it! I picked it up with 124,000 miles on it, and it's solid as a rock despite the miles. That said, it did come with a few little problems I need to fix, but that's what keeps me alert. Small coolant leak, small electrical problems, and... well, that's it. Most of the electrical I worked out and fixed already. The leak developed last night, but I suspect it's worn seals in the pump... just a little bit of a drip. Hope I don't need to replace the pump -- a seal kit would be nice!

I just wanted to say 'Hi', introduce myself, and thank everyone on this forum for the wealth of knowledge I gleaned prior to my purchase. This world of Goldwings... I'm hooked.
