Hello to the other members of the forum. I am in the process of buying an old 1981 wing and fixing the old girl. It will be my first wing and the first bike I put my bum on after 18 odd years or so. I am 64 and still love bikes. The one that must be obeyed has finally approved the purchase of the bike. I should have the bike home by this weekend.
The Walrus.

Just did an edit: the state is Western Australia, I am bloody dyslexic.document.write('/forums/images/emoticons/cheesygrin.png');

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I now have my 1981 Goldwing interstate at home and she is in need of lots of TLC. (an understatement) I wonder if anyone would be interested in me starting a topic about my slow cleanup of this bike. It would be the opposite to most other posts because I am on a disability pension and my wife allows $50.00 per fortnight for my pocket money not a lot of money to throw at a bike. So it would be the continuing saga of how I put a bike on the road in the best way I can with little or no income! There must be others who are put off from getting a bike because of the costs and effort involved maybe it could be of interest whether I succeed or not.
Some feedback welcome.

The Walrus.
