Not sure if I introduced myself back when I joined.... so here goes. From NW Montana up in the mountains. Riding here is the best 3 months you will ever have. 8>)
45 year rider..... my first Goldwing. I am impressed with the smoothness of the motor but not impressed with how hard it is to wrench on.
I have seen videos of the new DST and I am intrigued for sure. Everyone have a great winter.... if winter is what you have where you are. I have 20" of snow on the ground. Cheers.

WELCOME!!

I sold the 'Wing and bought something a bit lighter a couple of years ago, but still drop in here now and then. A good group of people on this forum. Lots of info for a Gold Wing owner. BTW: My only complaint was just how much of a PIA working on the 1500SE was due to all of the fairings and obstructions. Fantastic touring motorcycle though.

I've had the pleasure of riding the Lolo Hwy 12 twice and would like to see more of MT...maybe this year? We'll see!

Glad you're here. I used to live in Columbia Falls, MT not too far from the west entrance of Glacier. It is indeed God's Country. Enjoy the short riding season. Its all about making the best of it!

I hate to break it to you, but the bike in the picture isn't a 'Wing.
The reason it idles funny is...that's a V-Twin, not a Flat Six. :devilish:

Surging idle is not uncommon on the 15s. Post in the Tech forum and someone will get you fixed up quickly.
