I "inherited" a 1987 Honda GL1200 with 46,000 miles. Everything is stock and the bike is in great shape. I've been going thru it with a fine tooth comb this winter making sure everything is safe and reliable. I'm glad to have found this site as I have a few tech questions that I'll need some advice on. I have three manuals for the bike including the OEM manual.
I'm 37 years old and have had a motorcycle in some form or another since I was 7...and turning wrenches on them the whole time. From a Kawasaki Trail75...all the way up to a Yamaha FZR1000 and everything in between including Harley-Davidsons.
This is my first true touring bike. Although I didn't go looking for it...it found me and I've kinda fallen in love with it. It's a great running bike and was really comfortable to ride. So I'll see how this goes and hopefully I'll really enjoy this bike.
