Hello everyone, little introduction here names John i live in beautiful / Smelly steel town Granite City Il . Just bought my first Wing a 1982 GL1100 interstate. PO could not get it running right so instead of putting more money in it he sold it. After fixing some of his so called fixes it runs ok, not great but ok. Anyway i just wanted to thank this forum and its members for the massive amount of info that is here :bow:. Hope to see some some of you on the road. Happy Riding, John:waving:

Welcome back to ya their Mr. John. You are almost in my old stomping grounds. Believe me when I say I know what you mean by smelly. I grew up 1 block away from the shell oil refinery in Roxana. Live a little more north now up by Decatur. Still go down home once in a while to see parents. Maybe we'll meet up some day.

Thank you all for rolling out the welcome mat much appreciated. And to Jeff_A , I think Granite has got Roxana beat on the stink ever since Sun coke energy moved in across the street from U.S. Steel's coke ovens.
