Hey folks! I bought a 1983 Interstate last week and I absolutely love it. What a great bike. After 10 years of motorcycling with 2 cruisers, a sport tourer and two Suzuki Bandits, I knew it was time to try a full-on touring bike. After a bit of research I decided that an older GoldWing was the perfect way to try it for cheap. So far, so good.

I am looking forward to lots of good times on this bike.:jumper:

Welcome AndyB I had an 02 suzuki Bandit it was the 600 and didn't like the constant shifting due to the powerband. If I had gotten a 1200 I think I'd still have it. The wing is a comfortable tourer for sure, but I really like the bandits style. I only tour about 3 or 4 weeks the season and the larger bandit would have enough motor but not the wind blockage or the luggage capacity.The wingdefinitly slows your riding style down though and that can be a good thing. Well sounds like you tryed all styles of bikes so a tourer is next have fun.:waving:
