Hey folks,


My name is Roger and I justr bought a near mint 1988 Goldwing GL1500. I immediatly stated looking for a forum of owners so I can learn and gain knowledge of the ins and outs of my bike.



A little about me... I am 44 and married with an 18 year old Son. 2 dogs and an array of bikes. I will soon be selling off 1 or 2 of my rides. I have been riding on and off since 1987 and by Gods grace I have only been in 1 accident back in 1988.



We decided to buy a used Gold wing now and when I retire in 5 years we will look at buying a new one then. My Wife rides also but she would prefer to just ride with me.



I look forward to posting here and getting any help with issues that might aris3e from owning an old bike.

Hi Roger, that's quite a nice intro there. I feel like I've known you for a long time already.

That is what is so nice about a good interactive forum. You get to meet the nicest folks with common interests.

I take it you are a fireman in one regard or another?

I'm a computer tech for a fire department, is that close enough?
