I live in the North Texas area and have been riding for many years, Looks like I am going to retire as my closet friend and riding partner passed away. Lost all desire to ride, however I keep looking at anything motorcycle so who knows. Sold my 2001 GW ABS w/champion trailer, 2002 ST1300, and AN650 Burgman. Have several items to clear out from my years of riding. I am 69 years young and have been at it since 1960.

Love hearing all the riding adventures and technical issues.

You know Belladad I don't think you should stop as I doubt your old riding partner would want that. Perhaps you should contact the local ABATE chapter and start teaching the new riders how to do it properly. I see many who have no idea how to counter steer a bike most still just lean. You don't know how many Saturday mornings I have spent in the local High school parking lot teaching people how not to ride. I have been riding for 46 years and in the beginning I had a real good teacher who taught me to counter steer. Maybe for the new generation it could be you......
