Hi, an introduction, i'm a 28 year old mechanical/aerospace engineering student (only my second year so all i know right now is a bunch of math and physics) and an airbrush artist part time (see my website at www.corbycustoms.com).

Bought an '83 goldwing last week and just got it on the road today. Right now the paint job is pretty nasty buy i'll be painting it silver with orange classic flames in a couple weeks.

Only major problem i see right now is it likes to get stuck in neutral, and once it got stuck in first. In 3 hours of riding around town it got stuck in neutral 5 times and was unstuck by releasing the clutch and pulling it back in and it would work.

When it got stuck in first i had to turn the bike off and turn it back on and it shifted fine after that. When i say it gets stuck, i mean the shifter will move but it won't "catch" and just moves back to where it was, and stays in the gear that it was in. Any idea what causes this?

On your clutch issues, first I would change the oil and then flush/clean the clutch fliud/brake fluid and then bleed it correctly, That will/ should help you out.

I recommend you post your question over in the technical section. Most of the gurus won't see it over here, and a lot more people frequent over there. Just a few of us greeters hang out over here on a regular basis.
