I'm new to the forum, but I am an old fan of the mighty wing. I'm on my second one now, I rode an SE-I for years until some idiot cager decided to back over me and my precious wing. I fought the ins co for two years to let me repair it, but they insisted on totaling it and I was wingless for the first time in many years. About amonth ago, I found a beautiful 1100 std that had been resurected after being bought as a parts bike. I love the naked 1100 even more than my beloved SE-I, it's much lighter, handles better, faster and a bunch more fun to ride thanthe dresser. On my SE-I, I bought ever piece of bling or other accessory I could find and had every accessory ever made for that bike. I would have kept it forever, but I sort of forgot about the fun factor of riding a naked bike. I've fought the urge to bling out my new 1100, but have given in on a few "necessities". I love reading the posts and have lived through many of the problems described by members, some I know how to fix, others I still don't. Looking forward to many more years of wing'in, maybe I'll have this bike for the duration, might even add a stablemate, who knows?:cooldj:
