I just purchased a 1983 GL1100A (@51K miles) in not running condition. Previous owner was frustrated and just wanted it gone so I purchased it for $400.00. This is my 2nd ($400) project bike as I currently own a 1980 CB750 custom which was a barn find and all it needed was a good cleaning and carb flush/rebuild and now is my daily runner (@21k miles). Looking forwardto all your advice to get this nice shape cruiser back on the highway. BTW ... it has new battery but no power so I'm hoping it is the main dog-bone fuse as I have researched in these forums !!!
