I have reading the technical posts on this forum for almost a year now, and finally decided to join. Of all the forums I have seen, this seems to have the best information with the least amount of misdirection. Over a year ago my Dad my bought me a 1980 Goldwing interstate with 10K miles on it... ok 110K miles on it! I have been tinkering with it ever since. I used to work in a Mom and Pop motorcycle shop in Tidewater Va. for a few years turning wrenches. I am a semi-competent shade tree mechanic, but do much better with the HD bikes as I have worked on them longer! Thanks for having me.
