..Thought i gave up Goldwings at age 70 but could not resist the lure of (just one more ) lol,a Barn stored (for 17 years) 1978 GL1000 kitted out with Vetter package.So im here to learn and bask by the fire of fellow Wingers and their knowledge...job one will be a complete poke around just to see what shape its realy in(thinking rust )then timing belts and etc.The list begins! ....So to one and all :waving: Hello from Ontario!===12 year navy Medic-On loan to the US Army ( US 196th Army station hospital )for 3 years-SHAPE.- last wing (sold last year) GL1200 with California 11 side car.Now-Full time care giver....Lapsed member of GWRRA,and former snow bird (Quartzsite Az).... gotta love those Wings

On a side note.. We already have a highly respected member here called Dustyboots.He also is from Ontario. May I respectfully ask you to change your handle? Those " Dustyboots " will be a hard act to follow.

+1 on Hawwgy's suggestion, otherwise we will get you confused with the original Dusty Boots, who is also from Ontario.

If you send a PM to wingnut (he is in charge of the forum) and ask him to change your handle to something else, I'm sure he will be able to oblige. Perhaps "Dusty Ontario" or something along those lines?
