I've just heard and found out about your site. Thank you for a site with so much information.

BTW. I have a problem with the C B on my 1994 GL 1500 SE. It will receive but will not transmit. I'm hoping someone will have info that will show me where to look to correct the problem. Anyone with info is welcome to email me at :

[email protected].

Thank you all in advance

You should repost this on the General Technical Forum. That is where the real Technical Guru's hang out and you will get the most help for your problem.

One of the main things I have noticed is with the CB is the antenna length is critical. The CB only has so much power if the length of the mast is off to much you can end up with a great mismatch. It will go as high as 5 to 1 so where as yourCB is putting out 4 watts in all actually you are only putting out less than one. So no one around you can hear you as you are lost in the ground clutter. Check around someone will have a RF meter or Radio Shack sells them. Put it as close to the Radio as you can and check your output. Then let us know here and we will talk you through the adjustment procedure.

I recommend you post your question over in the technical section. Most of the gurus won't see it over here.
