Hello to all,
I've been bikeless for nearly 25 years. Last spring I sprung for a Gold, 1985 Aspencade with 44K mi. Put a few bucks into it and I'm riding again. I've got young twins so I added higher foot rests to accomodate. The bike needs a new radio, paint, anti-afterburn valve?(Backfiring while decelerating) and possibly a clutch soon (slips a bit speed shifting into OD). I only get to ride locally on errands and once in a while to work. A backrest would be a nice addition. I'm taking it in to have the front fork bearings replaced. ( Scarry @*%)!! ride at 30 mph when you go hands free )

Hello, just joined today, the site is great, I just bought a 1985 blue Interstate, I've had some issues, but getting thru it all, I do have a question about my front rotor size, I have a warped left front, so I ordered a new one, doesn't match not even close, the EBC rotor I was sent (MD 1082), is approximately 11 5/8 inches Dia. mine is approximately 10 13/16 inches Dia. or converted to about 275 mm, everything I've read says the fronts are 285mm,I'm lost on this one..never mind, it appears I mistakenly ordered the rear, the site I ordered from wasn't very specific, either way, I guess that's why I'd rather speak with someone instead of just punching in numbers..
