New Rider in Maine

Hey all,
My name is Ken. I'm a 40 yr old divorced, ex-navy, college student and just got my first Goldwing. It's a 78 GL1000. I had to replace the clutch cable before I could rider her and next is a tune up and carb. sync at the local shop. Right now she tops out at 75mph and I'm hoping to get more after the sync. I replaced the fuel filter which looked like it was put on in 1978. lol
Looking forward to many miles.
