'83 Aspencade with 85,000 kilometres/51,000 miles:

I'm having a new set of tires installed. As long as it's in the shop being partially dismantled what else should I have checked or done?

If you can't do it your self, you may want new timing belts, fuel filter, radiator flush, final drive oil change, oil change, drive rod regrease, carb sync.

Your stator is almost ready to go out too. what is the bike in the shop for?

It's in the shop for the new tires, which means both wheels are off. I'm looking for things that should be done/checked with the wheels off so it doesn't have to be done twice.
