I’m new to GoldWings and I need help. I recently purchased a 2006 GL1800 with124,000 miles. I’m having a couple of issues
1, the cruise set light keeps blinking and it doesn’t go into cruise control.
2, twice now I‘ve gone to start the bike, I turn on the ignition, the lights come on but when I press the starter button nothing happens. I make many attempts to no avail then, suddenly it starts.
I push the switch a dozen times, nothing then out of the blue it started.
3, as of yesterday the reverse gear doesn’t engage. It kinda grinds and sticks but won’t move the bike.
the only thing I’ve done recently was I left the ignition aux on and as a result had to replaced the Battery. I cleaned and tightened the cables as I reconnected the battery.
