Hi everyone, I just picked up a 86 Aspy and finding all the info I need right here. Just finding it a little hard to get the balance right at slow speeds. I was thinking of going trike with maybe a Triwing kit but looking into reregerstering as a trike and insurance here in Ontario.

Hi kentech and welcome to this great forum!

We have basically the same Wing. I've ridden motorcycles for most of the last 40 years, and it took me about 2 months before I REALLY felt comfortable on the Wing. I'd simply never had such a heavy bike and thought that if I couldn't horse it around I wasn't in control of the machine.

The simple truth is that a Wing is so perfectly balanced and powerful that its BALANCE and MOMENTUM are your friends. Now, I can stop at stop signs legally, with my feet never leaving the pegs (have had LEOs right behind me and never been pulled over) and take off without any problem. Never been able to do that on any other bike, and I've ridden many of them.

Give yourself a little time. If you still want to trike it, you always can.

Good Luck!
Howdy and welcome to the forum! :waving:
