Hello fellow wing members, I am a new Goldwing owner. My name is Moses Biggs. I purchased a 2001 1800 Goldwing yesterday. I'm excited to be on this forum. I'm 65 years old and ready to ride!

Welcome to the forum,
you have a nice ride, mine is an '02 and going very strong.
Welcome aboard! Lots of good folks here, lots of great advice. Keep the shiny side up!
Hallo mosesbiggs58

Welcome on this nice forum. Wish you al the best.
And good luck with your Wing.
Thanks for the welcoming fellow wingers! Questions...I have a no flat tire on the back. Does it ride better with an original goldwing tire or no? The handling seemed sort of tight when entering curves.
Welcome

Welcome, where are you from?
As far as the tire. some love car tires and others don't.
a Car Tire is going to feel "rigid" and on cornering, it will " tend to stand up straight ",
you have to "push the handlebars" through the turns.

once you get used to that, Car Tires last 3 to 5 times longer than a M/C tire.
plus, a No Flat tire will get you home on Zero PSI

matter of choice
thanks for the feedback fellow wingers! I think I'm going to change it because I previously owned a haya busa and has gotten use to leaning in curves.

my 1800 now has a Dunlap E4 on the rear, my son pushes it through the curves faster than anyone who rides with him.

I can vouch that he knows the roads here, I rode double with him a week back..... scared me and I have been riding since I was 12.
Wow, that's Awesome

Wow! That's Awesome John, I needed to know that by changing to a Dunlop tire I'll be getting better steering in curves.
I've seen footage of folks on car tires really tearing up the road. So even though I choose M/C rubber, I can't condemn those who want to go a different way.
Give the tire a try, since it's already on there, and then decide.
