Two years ago, I replaced the hinge brackets for the top box on my '13 1800.
Such a fun job - only 39 (from memory) bolts and screws to undo.
Just noticed, the left one's broken again.
Ordered a new pair, plus a sheet of 1mm steel sheet, which I hope to cut, and Araldite in place, to provide reinforcement.
My guess is that with a lid liner, and a hi-viz vest in there, there's not quite enough room for a helmet, too.
Barely used the liner, and never used the vest, so they can come out, see if they last longer.
Anyone suffered similar failure?
