Yes... my thoughts, also; what's the point? $9000. 60miles.

Until they come up with an electric that has a 200 mile range, I ain't too interested...

Well CJ they are getting closer to the 200 mile range. It's now up to 114 miles and climbing.

Prices range from $7,500 to $11,500 (starting) for the various models. Still to high but getting better.

New Electric Motorcycles with 114 mi range.

As a daily commuter, who drives a known route daily, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Don't forget that 114 miles range is manufacturers opinion, and we all know how optimistic they are. Remember back in the 70s and 80s when all 2 litre engined cars gave 50mpg according to their makers?
That 114 miles will be 80 in reality, and only when the batteries are new. A year or so down the road it will be 55 miles or less.
I would want to be sure of at least 200 miles, real ones before I would even consider buying electric.
