First let me say hi to everyone, "HI". Thanks for accepting me here and I cant wait to get to reading the post and all. I have an 81 gl1100 interestate that I got when I traded an old Chevy pickup for it. I believe that I got the better end of the deal on that one. Couldn't wait to get rid of that truck, a major POS! When the guy asked if I wanted his goldwing I said hell yea. Anyway a lot more to that story which I'm sure will come out in the future. I just started tearing my wing down, getting ready for a rebuild from the frame up. I'm sure I will have plenty of stories and pics and even more questions as this project move forward. Until then, "Thank You" in advance for all the help I am sure to request.

WOW!! I wake up this morning to all of yall's warm welcome. Thank you ALL very much. I hope to get to know a lot of you much better in the future as this project get moving. Going home from work this morning to start taking some pics. I already started the tear down so it will not be from the start but its not that far into it either. Unfortunatley for the bike I have more than one thing going on in my life (I'm a new grand daddy, lol, and he lives with us part time)so this may take some time. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
