Hi Don't know if this is the right way to log in and say hi, as I'm not good at navigating these websites. Anywhoo, I just bought a 1983 GL1100 Aspencade. Just got my learners permit this morning. have not had a bike since the early 80's. At 67 i need this like a hole in the head, but have freinds now on bikes so I want to run wiht them. Not a newbie to bikes, as the past had me on a 450 Honda, a 65 HD L.A.P.D. Police bike, then s short spell on a 650(?) Yamaha, then a brnad new 87 Honda Shadow. This is a nice bike, but boy, is it big and heavy! The weight will help me stay on the road in these Northeast Montana winds! So hi for now.

Thanks! Sorry about the late reply, but I am not too good at getting around on these forum things. Actually prefer good ol regular email. You can see my current problem if you look at the new topic I got going about 'using a different master cylinder' as i am having trouble finding the right fittings for mine.

Thanks a bunch for the warm welcome. Sorry it took so long to get back. I am not too good at getting back and to navigating these 'forum' things. But i think I have the hang of some of it now, and apparently have started my own new 'topic' or forum or whateveryou callit as i am trying to find out if there is an adapter or something so I can replace my hard to fix/replace rear master cylinder.
