We have no sound coming from our radio on our 2002 Honda Goldwing 1800. Plug in helmets with headsets, and get sound. Unplug them, nothing. We have checked the fuses, and they are all OK. Anyone that can help us, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm no expert but since nobody has responded yet...
Did you try one helmet at a time and switching positions? I suspect a bad pin or socket on one of the connections. Also this may help:

Our helmets don't have the headsets in them, we borrowed a helmet from a friend who has the headsets, to see if there was sound from our radio when we plug them into a helmet. Once we unplugged the headset, no audio could be heard from our radio.

Maybe too obvious....but did you set the radio back to speakers? If you could hear through the headsets, you have to have pushed the headset button. did you forget to re-select speakers?

If so, there will be a small "headset" icon on the screen.

Volume turned up..Is mute on?

yes, we turned off headset mode, the icon for headsets went off, volume is turned up, and mute button is turned off.

What radio, CB or AM/FM? Try removing battery power for a few minutes then reconnect. Sometimes a power reset is required. Good luck.
