bought an 83 1100 and don't have the keys for the ignition or the bags. Do you know if Honda can run the numbers and pull up the keys for the bags?

Pull your helmet lock or lock off a bag and take to a good lock smith and he can cut you a key. Had to do the same thing with my 81. They charged me 10 bucks a piece to do it.

Its 4 akorn nuts that hold the bag lock on, I think there are 7mm

Thanks, I thought that would work but thought that I would ask. As for the ignition I can buy another. Dana

Alocksmith can do it.

Unless the PO has changed some locks or the ignition, tommy is right, all the locks SHOULD be keyed the same

the ignition switch will have a number on the cylinder that the dealer can use to cut you a key. did it for my 450.

Thanks all, I have the ignition for it(I think) At least it came with it. I'll try the dealer then the lock smith. thanks

A dealer will try and sell you a 1800. Go straight to the locksmith.

Don't be afraid of a dealer. They will not hit you over the head with a baseball bat and take your wallet. You should be able to get keys from the code through them.

I had a couple of spares made for my 1500,from a dude on ebay,i gave him the, I think 3 digit code and he sent them to me for like 6 bucks a piece.

Retired locksmith in town ran the codes and went thru some of his old books. Made me keys and they worked! Thanks for all the help and ride on. Dana
