On my GL 1100 I have a slight noise like a Chirp ,it's not constant, Changes a little even at a constant speed and after 30 or 40 miles it goes away?

I'm guessing it's the "Napa" Timing belts which have maybe 300 miles on them?

Didn't notice it untill I went to a half shell Helmet once it got over 110 degrees here! My other helmet was almost sound proof!

Is this common with aftermarket ( non honda) belts? I'm hoping it will go away after they break in?

Doesn't seem to be wheels, brakes or shaft?

Timing belts don't make noise, but the timing belt pulleys will if they are adjusted too tight or the bearings in them are a bit worn. You should check this out asap!!

Hey Jason thanks for the reply! Went out for 2 rides today and the noise wasn't there?! Keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't come back!

No. Don't let it go like that. If there is even suspected issue with timing belt tension fix it asap. At best you'll prematurely wear and stretch the belts. At worst, well...
