Hello to all and I greet you all with our -50 deg. balmy winter weather. Looking forward to chatting and by chance meeting some of you in the future. Looking forward to spring time also! Currently working on our old girl, a 1984 GL1200 Interstate motor. Having issue's finding internal engine parts. Bored? Want to contribute suggestion's? All are welcome. Right now, time to go drag in more firewood.

I've got relatives in Nenana an Fairbanks and I've been to Santa's workshop store.
I've been up there in the winter snowmobiling a trap line at -25 so know what you is sayin'.

It may be cold now but the Highway is awesome come summer. Then you can ride from sunup to sun down.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum family . If you will post your engine needs in the " For Sale / Wanted Forum " you might be able to source some parts . Ebay is your friend for used parts ,though in your case shipping might be costly . Some supliers might have OEM parts but they are getting scarce because of age . Most folks will suggest you just source a used engine rather than the hassle of splitting the case and doing a proper rebuild (if you can find the needed bits ).
I wish the best of luck in finding what you need to repair the engine . Please enjoy the forums here and visit often .
