If I had to guess, it's similar to the old-school bug deflectors you'd see on cars and trucks until Lund really got into the game in the 90's.

Create an updraft in front of the windshield to push most of the bugs up and away from the screen so you don't have to clean it as much.

Well the back end looks like a Porsche 914 so maybe he has the Porsche flat 6 in it. If so, that thing would scoot. Turning radius would not be a problem. Turn the handlebars, rev the motor, drop the clutch & Voila' you're going the other way.

I dont think he gets ANY wind. The red front deflector, side of the windshield extensions, bakers type wings, all behind a Goldwing fairing.
