Good to hear your trip was safe. We are in Cortez resting up from our first day out. Going to try to get out before the rain, want to see the mountains :waving:
We made it to the BW, (Rm 148) late and after registering and running out for dinner before the town closed, by the time we got back everyone was all tucked in. Did met Wexy and96aspencade's better half at the reg desk.
Sorry about causing that gully-washer thunderstorm last night (I took the bike to the car wash and as I pulled in it started to dump). :gunhead:
Made it to Ely via the Colorado National Monument Park today (nice ride). At the Hotel Nevada tonight, historic place, highly recommended. Loneliest Highway tomorrow, Hwy 50.
Since we rode 550 miles today, with two butts on the bike, that qualifies as an Ironbutt ride - right?
Had a great time meeting all and riding (despite the rain). Just as we were pulling out this morning, Steve, Dylan and Wexy ran up to the checkout area and saw us off - doesn't get any better than that!
:action:In Carson City for the night (no reason to rush home if we don't have to). Really enjoyed Highway 50 today, much better ride than I-80. :action:
Well, we are home, nice to see the pups. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and the awesome rides. Glad to hear everyone arriving home safely. Great Trip!
Have some great pictures to share as soon as I can get them posted.
