I agree 100% CJ,,,,,,,,,,,, it has been an excellent year for sure. I saw some of America's finest sites, along with meeting and making excellent friends. Sorry to see it come to an end,,, but happier that I was able to live the experience.

And the best part is,,,,,,,,,there is/can be more to look forward to.

It has been a pretty good year so far, except for that darn deer that cost me nearly 4 weeks of riding.

The trip out west was no doubt the trip of a lifetime. Met a buch of really nice people, saw some wonderful sights, and rode some wonderful roads.

2009 Can Kiss off. The Global Recession has sucked and I can't wait to see the pickup in 2010.

(sorry to be a wet towel).

But yes I had fun in 09 as well.

That must have been when you were waiting for me to catch up in that 100 mph cross wind? Your bike was on the center stand wasn't it?

That was the time, Rog! :clapper: ... cept it was juston he side stand and since you were starting to come into view behind me, I didn't take a shot of the highwayto the rear of the bike. I was trying to capture the Solitude of that Highway, that day. Youi pulled over shortly after, to get your rain suit on, as we were just about to hit some local showers.
Yup, it was a tad blustery that day. :coollep:

Now you know better than that!

It ain't over till the big ball drops up there in New York City!

Soon it's going to start laying down that white stuff that makes me shiver just thinking about it and you'll be out there in that beautiful country doing the other thing you enjoy!

So even though I know I don't have to tell you,,,,,

I'll say it anyway!

Enjoy every day that comes like it's your last!

Well ya know, CJ- a couple of truly crappy things happened to me, in 2009, and I know I was one of the lucky ones who pretty much "dodged a bullet". ;)

But...you are absolutely right. Thanks to folks like you and Red, and pretty much everyone at NASSIR2, and my bestest friends "over the pond", I've actually had a terrific year, and I owe it all to my extended family of friends.

Thanks for being part of that great experience, and those happy moments. Will I see ya next year? Oh heck yes! ARE WE THERE YET??!!! :cheeky1::cheeky1: That was the "family joke" as we motored around America in the 60's and 70's..."DAD! MOM! Are we THERE yet?" :cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

We didn't quite understand yet that it IS the journey, and not the destination. :waving:
