Has anyone used one of the filters? If so what is the results on cleaning compared to the paper filters.

Assuming, you are referencing the Scotts Performance Products Stainless Reusable Oil Filter

My son's R6 came with one installed...We have changed his oil 5-6 times since...Remove filter...disassemble...rinse in kerosene...reassemble...simple, easy...Yammie filters for the R6 go at about $10 a pop

Would I put one on my bike?...No...At $120 or so that is 40 WalMart filters...at 5,000 miles per filter, I need to ride 200,000 miles to break even...not going to happen for me

Scotts Performance Products Stainless Reusable Oil Filter seems to be well made and high quality...I'm a little skeptical of the oil ring lasting through many changes...We have about 10 on it now...looks good still...But???

+1 on Ummmm, no thanks.

-10 on cost

-10 on effective 10 micron or less filtration

I'm with Bill on this. It really doesn't seem to be that cost effective if you really stop and think about it.
