Hi,
New to this forum. I tried a search but came up with nothing so far. Basically I went to check pressure and adjust the air in the front end. When I put the gage on the valve, oil "sizzled" out a bit. Not much, just about a drop. I had virtually no air in the fork. I put about 3lbs in to see if it will hold pressure. Is this a common issue or signs of a major expense to come? Never had air shocks before so I'm just learning this one. FYI, no oil leak on the rear and was at still around 40psi. Also, front fork seals are excellent.

Cheers,
:coollep:

As the forks extend and compress while riding so fork oil may splash up on the bottom of the valve and cling there. That's what you're seeing and shouldn't be a problem if your seals are holding well.
