hey fellas, I replaced the starter today on my 1980 gl1100 and there was quite of bit of oil in her. Im wondering if thats normal and if I need to be putting oil back in her before I go riding.
How is the engine oil level? It should be well below the level of the starter. Could be the engine was flooded with gas in the oil and some got in the starter.
