Hi I new to this online stuff so please stay with me.
I have a 1997 1500 Se Goldwing. with 73300 miles on the clock and serviced yearly, Lately in the shop . Due to body not been great.
I have just completed a tour of Spain and Portugal. but due to a very long day i made a mistake at the fuel garage in France .and accidentally put in 98 super bio fuel 7litres approx. The bike got me home 30 miles approx but she was working hard. I have spent the last 2 days burning it through the system at 1400 Revs. I did add Dipetane and 2 Liters of 95 full petrol to dilute the bio fuel.

am I doing right.

Regards

It would be faster to siphon what you can out of the tank then refill it with regular fuel.

Thank you, I forgot to mention that in my Post. But I was only able to get out 3 Lt approx
Or remove the fuel line before the automatic petcock and let it drain.
Not sure what bio fuel is, i use bio diesel in my truck made from old cooking oil but no idea about bio petrol, if its supposed to be suitable for all cars it shouldnt be a problem

Only diesel engine cars.
Not sure what bio fuel is,
Ethanol is the only thing I ca think of.

Reading up on bio-fuels, it says the ethanol bio is used as an additive to gasoline. Just like we have here in the US.

Depends on the % they use, it would run fine on 10% like we have but E85 it probably wouldn't.

If you were also at the GWEF meetings in Spain and Portugal, we have been there together. I thought that both were lovely meetings and I enjoyed myself a lot, but you can't talk to all the participants.
Regarding your problem with your GL1500, I don't know what you mean by "bio-fuel" but I think you mean E-85?
You can empty the tank with an external pump, possibly attach a small stick or a stiff welding wire to the hose so you can "direct" it to where the liquid is. You can also use the built-in pump in the tank for this, but it requires you to separate and extend the hose at the automatic fuel tap, (just to the right of the filler cap), and connect a wire from plus on your battery to plus on the fuel pump. It is necessary to remove the seat to gain access to the fuel pump.
If it is E85 you have filled, it should not clog nozzles or cause other damage, and your motorcycle should run perfectly again after you have filled with new gas and let it run for 5 minutes to clean the carburetors.

I don't recall a "+" on the fuel pump plate. I know when I would test the pump I ran a test lead from the "+" of battery to the "B" terminal on that plate.

But that is an excellent idea and thinking outside the box. My only concern with the OP using the E85 is that I have heard it can cause problems with seals and such on systems not designed for it. I don't have facts, just what I have heard but either way, getting it out of gas tank ASAP is probably a good idea.
