Good point, I may ask the manufacturer. Of course I don't know if I could give up my CHROME!!

I already e-mailed this yahoo and told him there is no '83 1200. But he still hasn't corrected his '83-'87 labeling.

YUK YUK YUK

I like woodgrain in something like a Jag. But on a bike!!!

Mind you I also don't like stereo's etc on a bike. I ride to get away from it all not take it with me.

On the other habd they also offfer Brushed Stainless and Carbon Fibre

The dash on my old girl is it's worst feature. It's quite rough. This could be a cheap way of tidying it up. (brushed stainless that is)

I was unable to acces their website for a look at the other options, but will do

We'll see

I am with Andrewl , leave it all behind:clapper:, Sorry another Yuk vote here..... :X

something about wood on a bike seems different at least.

Might be ok for a show bike, the elements could be rough on it..

To each his own......

If we all drove blue chevys and ate spagetti 7 days a week it would be a dull world !

Got to have different things and different tastes !

Not for me. But to each his own. Would like to see one in person.

As already mentioned, to each thier own. Just recently remodled the kitchen, and don't care to see anymore wood trim for a while. :action:

Maybe I should hire a cabinet maker to make some saddlebags and fairing... probably cheaper than theMC stuff! So what if it falls apart after a rain storm! Varnishing and polishing the 'bright' work would be a drag though.

Brojees,

It's like my Cajon (Coon-Ass) buddies used to say: "It's strictly up to the coon." If'n you like it, go for it.:cheeky1:

(For those not familliar, Coon-Ass is a badge of honor, not a slam for the Cajons. I lived there a several years, & was even married to one for a time).

Not for me, I like the old iron horse look with a nice small windsheild. I don't care for the look or the handling of fairings, And definitly not wood.

GO CHROME OR GO HOME

Have to go along with the it's a bit too much crowd. If it were just the radio and the speaker covers, might be enough.
