why is it, that one the most important things you need, can't be found?

If you're like me it's because you put it somewhere safe.

ah ha, a man who knows what I did.

I have a pair of Motorola Walkie Talkies, the hobby type bought at Bass Pro shop....

we use them when backing up the RV trailer, Cyndi makes sure I down plow into a power pole, or a new Mercedes :grin3:

Until I get a backup camera installed, it is a nice thing to have.
she can yell STOP until she is blue in the face, and I can't hear her in the truck....

but with the radios, plain as day....
for years, they have been setting on the 2nd shelf above my PC....
my notebook says that is where they have been since 2010.....
but, about 2 months ago, we remembered we had them, and I pulled them down, took them out to the truck or the RV, and now I can't find them. :frown2:

I wanted them where they would ALWAYS be available when needed to backup the trailer..... RV trailers are hard to see through :wink2:

Logical place to look would be in the truck or trailer. I'm sure that's where you stored them.>:)

John, if only you were in Fl. it's nice and warm , at least today it is.

the high today was 26F, ugh....
we are just carrying stuff out to the RV Trailer and leaving it in the boxes on the floor :|

When we get farther south, then we will take time to sort it out, and put it all away.

  • Tuesday night, is the KOA in North Little Rock.
  • Wednesday night is the Kudzu RV Park in Talladega, AL
  • Thursday evening we will be at my son's home in Dawsonville, GA.

Facebook is just going to have to wonder where we are, I am not posting that we are gone from home :frown2:

and life is going to be so rough on the road, the Internet is going to follow us :cam:
That is a LTE 4g Modem on AT&T and I tried it out in the Suburban earlier this week, and it had 4 bars for the 6 miles it is to the Feed Store north of us... Unlimited use, no data caps.

On the bottom are two strips of the rough side of Velcro.... that will grab the dash mat really good and not be slipping off.

I didn't mention it, but I bought a 200W Sinewave 120VAC Inverter to power the modem and the Netgear WiFi router.
The WiFi router will be hiding behind the front seats on the floor.

Kind of like a homemade microwave.
