hi

has any one painted there 1500 wheels and how do they look

and do you have any photos of them

i know polished looks best but i ride every day and after 2 weeks

of winter weather they look a lot worse than paint would

I know a guy who painted his wheels and they looked fine. I think it was a steel colour rather than silver. Trouble is that paint doesn't stick too well to aluminium without a proper etching primer, so most of his paint flaked after a while and the wheels looked even worse than before. Clearcoat might have been better. Best thing would be powdercoating as it sticks well to ally and they have lots of colours that look almost like stock wheel colour.
