Thanks for the info. I just had the heads bead blasted and I just lapped the valves and replaced the seals.I have a can of duplicolor pn# 1615 cast aluminium high temp and a can of duplicolor high temp clear, so I'll tape them up and get them painted today.I've already painted the top of engine while it was all apart and that came out great so this should work fine as well. Thanks again!
A caution on using Duplicolor high temp engine paint (of any color). Spray all coats within the specified time or it will wrinkle, including the clear coat. Even a year later it will still wrinkle. Can't repaint or touch-up without wrinkling.
