Parting Out 1982 Aspy

We bought a wing from Captainrob hoping we could save it, bottom line is we can't. It would simply require more work than we have time for and are looking to buy a newer wing for our daily machine hence have no time for this project.



I am giving forum members first shot at anything they need or want from it. I will post a few pictures of it later today. IF THERE IS ANYTHING SPECIFIC you want from it let me know so I can PHOTOGRAPH it for you.



I will pull parts as they sell or as i can get to it... highlights for the machine are as follows....





1982 Aspy, running when parked and left outside in 2004. most parts in usable condition but wiring harness, tank etc are trash. Controls maybe good but all cables, hoses or "soft" parts are history.



Full HondaLine OEM fairing with Clarion Type I and lowers, all intact no damage visable other than weather, tank cover, side covers, trunk, bags etc in good usable condition but ofcourse will need paint.



Block does turn over and has 37000 miles on it, it would be a good block to freshen up for another wing... handle bars, foot pegs, center stand, frame with title, forks, shocks, brake rotors * calipers suspect etc all there and rebuildable or usable in fair condition.



Again, I will post a few pix here later tonight, will also put up a small web gallery as well. Let me know of anything specific be it large or small that you are interested in so I can get you detailed photos of that. What does not sell to forum members pretty quickly will go to Fleabay auction.



We are not trying to make anything on this bike... what I put into it is my concerne if I loose money then so be it I just want to clear it out and be done with it so we can get on to other things.



If you need a part or would just like to have a hard to find spare this is your chance to score it at a name your own price deal. Its a complete wing and it going out the door completely.

Are you sure it's a Clarion Type I? If it's an 82 Aspy, it should be a Type II.

I would be interested in the rider footpeg assemblies for both sides. My Interstate came with floor boards and a heel shifter......which I passionately hate.


Also, theengine guards forboth sides. ThePO of mine removed the engine guards for some reason (maybe to fit the crappy floor boards).


If you want to sell those foot pegs and guards......please let me know.

it looks a lot worse in the pictures than it actually is due to the fact i didnt want to try and armour all or sweet coat anything. Want to make sure eevry one sees the worst but you will get better than oyu think from photos. This way no one is disappointed.

I would be interested in the windshield. But I see that it might already be claimed. if not please let me know.

Also what kind of shape are the rear shocks in? How much would you want for them?

Would also be interested in the entire air compressor system, including the fake tank door it mounts to.

Broke... I will be honest with you. I simply do not know. I am willing to be that ANYTHING soft on this bike is history. I am willing to sell it to you, pull it all and ship it for a fair price ( please let me know what that is) and give you your money back if it doesn't work.





Listen folks that goes for anyone who buys ANY of these parts save the motor. If you need it and buy it from us then find it is defunct I WILL refund your money.



We have been silver power sellers on ebay a long time and own a custom PC business as well. We would get no where if things were not above board.



I want this bike to go to forum memebers who really need the parts, money back guarntee if they do not work. I simply do not know about all of these parts, no one can until you try them. I am being fair with you. Please be fair with me as I do not know what these parts are worth and really just want to try to see to it everyone gets what they need from this ole girl before we have to give here a decent burial.



Tell me what you want and name a fair price for it, I will pull it and send it to you and if it doesnt work, refund your money.I can't see how todo this any other way.



Broke.... name the components you want (which you have )and your price OR PM me a price will send you a paypal invoice and then pull and send all the parts you need.



I simply do not have time to test all these parts but think most of them will work and work well...



Lets get this one done folks... I don't like parting out a wing... its like taring up a friend or something.

The fairing is being sold complete... here is how it is breaking down.





Fairing, lowers, complete with radio, brackets, keyetc.First 250.00 gets it



Motor, complete with heads, stator, trans, clutch packs etc First 225.00





Complete exhuast with brackets etc SOLD 225.00



Side covers with emblems 40.00



Trunk, saddle bags, and all mounts n hardwareFirst 225.00



Seat, not bad shape, will clean up First 50.00



Footpegs, crash gaurds are sold, I think all 3 rotors and spark units are also sold so that leaves us with the rest... frame ( with clear Title make offer_), wheels, good forks, handle bars , gauge cluster with 37000 miles on the clock, rear drive unit, etc etc.



If any of these parts are priced too high or too low please advise me. i have tried to stay UNDER what I see on the web or on Fleabay



I beleive Brokewinger wants the air compressor and related parts so I have marked those to him

Thankx for asking Fly... let me update what has been sold.


Air compressor and rear shocks along with selenoid and tank lid. SOLD>

Foot pegs, crashbars, rear brake pedal. SOLD>

Rotors, spark units. SOLD>

Everything else is still avalable.
