Just wondering seeing people part out a bike. If you have a very nice 82 1100 (no repainting needed, good motor, etc) what would you think it would bring? Any expereince out there? Just curious. Wondering why someone would do it unless you could bring in much more than selling outright.

Anyone with experience? I would be looking at $2,500 to sell the bike. What would reasonably come in parting out? 3,000? 5,000? I just don't have any idea. With all the bikes being parted out I was just curious.
