passenger floor boards

Have the board slides and cables been lubricated? Otherwise is the cables are rusted inside it is replacement time of the cables.

On the GL1500 if the boards are stuck in the down position, you can manually release them so they pop to the up position:

thanks. sprayed lube down cables. tried about 1 hour later they popped up. but i now know i can manual release. thanks again.

Be sure to lube the pivot points on the floor boards too. Makes a big difference in how they work, nice and smooth when clean and lubed. Clean with wd40, then lube with a good Teflon based lube
