I just wanted to take a minute and brag about my 2000 Goldwing SE (Candice). My wife and I just returned from a 1700 mile trip from middle Georgia to northwest Indiana. We pulled a harbor freight trailer with a luggage carrier along with us and neither one missed a beat, "knock on wood". We started out going throught the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, Candice pulled us and the trailer up those mountains like it was nothing. We did learn a very important lesson about rain gear.If you stop to put the rain gear on, put it all on, not just the jacket. We wound up in a pretty good downpour and at 25 or 30 mph you get soaked. Thanks for reading and ride safe.:blackstuff:

Bragging rights Honored, Bragging heard! Congrats on your trip, glad all went well.

I just had mine on the highway for the first time and I can honestly say, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! I thought driving the backroads on this thing was fun, the highway brought a whole new driving experience, no road noise, no transmission/tire wine, just air and radio........ I envy your 1700 mile trip after that minor experience.
