Sad news on the Valkyrie front Sunday. My best friend and ironbutt rider Don, died in Arizona in a traffic accident. Officer said he made a left turn onto the hiway and didn't see a van coming his way. Doesn't sound like him, but he had left on Monday from Oregon, went to the Canadian border, turned right to Montana and then another right until he hit Oklahoma. He was on his way back home via Texas, New Mexico and then Arizona when the accident occurred. He loved to ride and had the bike and the time to do it. He will be greatly missed by many. He was an ol crusty marine who used his lack of hearing as a tool to ignore idots, it was fun to watch. He was an officer in our club, Clean and Sober MC, and was clean for over 25 years. May God bless him and take care of his daughter, she will need plenty of support.

Ride safe all, sorry for the sad news, but I know all of you have known a man like Don. Ride safe.

If he was a friend of yours, then he is a friend of mine. May he rest in peace.

It is always hard to loose a friend as close as he sounded to be to you. We'll be praying for his family and yours for strength and comfort through the hard times ahead.

My condolences as well. Seems like the older you get the more people you have to miss. Keep riding and enjoying life while you can.
