While there is a lot of discussion about milage per gallon of petrol has anyone noted the difference in milage with 2 people on the bike compared to one rider. :?:?:?:?

Actually I typically get the same or slightly better. I am thinking the lack of weight on the rear tire makes my right wrist heavier :D

I like the acceleration, and I get a tap on the shoulder when I try that 2up :D

I haven't noticed much difference unless the terrain is mountainous then the extra weight climbing grades uses up an extrampg or two.

I have to agree, with my 1200 the wrist seems to determine how much less than 40mpg I get.

When I'm one up and not paying attention it does drop off a couple miles to the gallon.

On the same route, I haven't noticed any difference at all.

For me, headwinds are the mileage killers.
