Has anybody had clearance issue between the PIAA lights and forktube covers or front fender? I was told by my assistant (youngest daugter) that it gets very close when I bring the bike down from the center stand.

Where did you choose to mount the on/off switch?

Does on-coming traffic flash you much? These lights seem to have a wider dispersement pattern vertically than I expected. I went for a short test ride to adjust thelightslast night/this morning but, nobody flashed me.

On a side note, there were a lot of extra parts left over. I think that may have shook my assistance's confidence in my assembly skills.

I've seen a few 1800 Wings with those lights fitted, a few chaps at the UK treffen this year had bought them from a vendor there and fitted them. They do come close to the fork covers but none of them actually made contact. They were bouncing the front ends up and down to make sure.

As for annoying other road users, if they are not flashing you then it shouldn't be a worry.
